AJIJAAK ON TURTLE ISLAND

Christopher and Justin Swader, award-winning designers, created epic stage sets using Stretch Shapes’ Full Moon products. Their acclaimed designs showcased the versatility and visual impact of Stretch Shapes’ custom fabric solutions, elevating the overall production aesthetics.

Our Full Moon Circle screens have been a hit globally for product showcases and projection mapping. Now, for the first time, a client has combined both techniques.

New York scenic designers Christopher and Justin Swader contacted Stretch Shapes for their project, Ajijaak on Turtle Island with IBEX Puppetry. They needed six Full Moon Circle Screens as backdrops, designed to mimic Native American drums with custom printing and varied sizes.

The Swaders found Stretch Shapes online, drawn by the quality and range of products. The lightweight, easy-to-assemble Full Moons were ideal for their drum concept. The screens, impressively infused with life by lighting and projection, exceeded their expectations.

Designed for touring, the production required a simple setup. The Full Moons proved efficient in managing and easily portable. The Swaders anticipate a long life for these screens as they travel with the show, valuing their durability for extended use.
